IMPORT AND EXPORT ANALYSIS

The trainer

A partner company is offering an internship in Import and Export Analysis. 

Activities during the program

  • To elaborate analysis of market for import/export of fruits and vegetables. 
  • To elaborate reports about transport routes. 
  • To make research about customs regulations regarding import in the European Union. 
  • To make research about public fees and taxes when importing products. 
  • The working language is English.

You will gain the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including tariffs, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with market research and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and procedures, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms and international trade terms.
  • Strong understanding of international trade finance, including letters of credit and other payment methods.
  • Knowledge of different cultures and customs to effectively navigate cultural differences in the business environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the export and import compliance laws and regulations, such as US export control regulations, sanctions and embargoes.

Importrant information:

You can also do this program with the Erasmus+ programme or another educational programme (e.g., curricular programmes to get ECTS, final projects in university, practical and academic projects, etc). It is also possible to do the internship without any programme.

About the price

This programme has a reasonable price that varies depending on the duration of the programme and its location. The price is paid at the beginning of the internship and never in advance.
